Workforce Members
The RLA was specifically designed to support the delivery of workforce education and training.
In addition to our Academic Members, the RLA has 4 Workforce Members that offer non-degree programs that include training, certifications, business assistance, workshops, and noncredit education.
MSA Safety, Inc. operates a premier Safety at Heights Training Center that includes OSHA certifications.
PennWest University at California operates GACO, APEX Accelerator, a Government Agency Coordination Office (GACO) which offers services to the region's business community with one-on-one counseling, workshops, fairs, and advisement for doing business with the federal government.
West Virginia University Extension Services offer many OSHA programs at the RLA. These program serve the entire Pittsburgh region with OSHA OTIEC Training Courses in-person as well as a program to become a Certified Safety Specialist.
The Manufacturer and Business Association (MBA) is one of the largest employers' associations of its kind in the USA. It offers the talent, tools, training, consulting, and others services to help businesses achieve a higher level of success.
